Advance healthcare innovation to improve patient lives. This mission energizes me to develop and commercialize innovative solutions that can address healthcare challenges and create a positive impact to our society. Towards this goal, I have built an interdisciplinary background with over 10 years of global experience in healthcare strategic business development, project management consulting and clinical research. Being data-driven, I am passionate about utilizing scientific research to create business value. As an experienced leader of cross-functional teams, I am a strong advocate of the whole being greater than the sum of the parts, seeking to extract the best out of individuals towards achieving a common goal.

As a Manager at Mass General Brigham (MGB), I manage innovation for MGB’s Harvard Medical School appointed faculty and hospitals. My work portfolio experience includes pharmaceuticals, medical devices, laboratory diagnostics and digital health applications across a variety of therapeutic areas. I am a certified Project Manager and have worked with several organizations ranging from big biopharma companies to innovative start-ups. As a Venture Partner, I look into healthcare investment opportunities at a $100M+ multi-stage venture capital fund, VU Venture Partners, interested in areas such as digital health and drug therapeutics.

I enjoy lecturing about entrepreneurship, sharing my experience from the perspectives of business development and venture capital investing. As a Guest Speaker at Georgetown University, I lectured at the Entrepreneurial Biotechnology class (Spring 2021) on how to build and establish a biotech start-up. I have been invited to give talks about start-ups at several universities, banks and venture capital firms globally. With a passion to support entrepreneurship and professional development, I serve as a start-up judge, mentor and career coach at leading accelerators and business schools, including MassChallenge, MIT Enterprise Forum, MedTech Innovator, University of Cambridge, Imperial College London and Northeastern University.

In terms of education, I am currently pursuing an MBA at Johns Hopkins University, focusing on innovation, healthcare management and leadership. I conducted my Ph.D. research in Clinical Neurosciences at the University of Cambridge, with my scientific work resulting in the elimination of a major 60-year drawback of a method assessing brain haemodynamics. My publication portfolio includes 37 scientific paper and 1,200+ citations, while my research set the basis for a $170K+ NIH research grant. My undergraduate studies were in Mechanical Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens and Imperial College London.

I have received 15 awards and scholarships for scientific, entrepreneurship and philanthropy achievements. My personal blog can be found on Medium.
